This past weekend I was able to have the opportunity to not only attend the 33rd Annual Bridal Spectacular Bridal Show as a vendor but was able to provide makeup for Act II Model & Talent Managment’s runway models. The models wore dresses supplied by Greta’s Bridal and Formalwear, Simply Yours, and David’s Bridal. Hair was provided by Kerri Trapp of MAK Salon and Spa. For this show, I researched up and coming makeup trends for 2018 and applied a few of those trends to the models while keeping the other models more natural.

For my first model, I created a look using Stila’s Glitter & Glow Liquid Eyeshadow in Diamond Dust while keeping the rest of the look soft. My second model, I created a look using natural toned shadows with a pop of grey. One of the upcoming trends of 2018 is grey eyeshadow on your wedding day. For my third model, I created a soft eye look with natural shadows but used a glitter eyeliner to line the outer part of her eyes. Glitter eyeshadow is another up and coming trend for 2018.

My next models, I kept with the more traditional natural eye looks.

 

Westley Leon Studios was kind enough to get a few photos of me in my booth at this event! I was excited about this show because I made adjustments to my show booth including my new show banner! I had a blast meeting some of my current brides that I have not yet had a chance to meet and new brides to be. At one point my booth got overfilled with brides after the first fashion show as brides seeking makeup services visited.

There were two fashion shows during this bridal event, and I can say that they were not ones you wanted to miss. The models from Act II Model & Talent Managment did a fantastic job at modeling each vendor’s dresses. As always I had a blast meeting everyone at the show and I cannot wait to be part of your wedding day!
